The Slinger Fire Department responded to a number of incidents recently.
On September 9, around 11:08 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to the area of STH 175 and STH 60 for a passerby report of an uncontrolled brush fire.
They were cancelled before en-route to the scene as it was determined to be a controlled burn.
On September 9 around 2:35 p.m., Slinger firefighters and Lifestar EMS were dispatched to the area of STH 60 over I-41, for a single motorcycle crash.
Crews responded and assessed for hazards and provided traffic control assistance.
On September 9 around 3:39 p.m., Slinger firefighters were dispatched to the 1200 Blk. E. Commerce Blvd, for a mutual aid request by Lifestar EMS for a patient who was having an allergic reaction and difficulty breathing.
Personnel responded and assisted EMS.
