Investigation continues regarding gunshots in Lomira

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on Printer’s Row in the Village of Lomira on Sunday, May 24. This search warrant was issued during an investigation into a report of gunshots being fired during the overnight hours in the apartment complex.

Shortly after 11 p.m. on Saturday, May 23 the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office received multiple 911 calls of a disturbance involving multiple individuals, and gun shots being fired, near the 1020 Printer’s Row apartment building. Following the gunshots, multiple vehicles fled the area. Responding deputies arrived and began an investigation which continued into the day on Sunday. Evidence obtained during the investigation led to a search warrant which was executed by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team.

There is no evidence to suggest there is a continued threat to the community, based upon the investigation which remains active. There are no reports of injuries stemming from this incident, and there are currently no persons in custody at this point. This was a significant threat to the safety of those in the area and is the only focus of the investigation.
