The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a serious motor vehicle crash on County Road A, north of Blackhawk Trail, in the town of Fox Lake Thursday night, June 4 at 6:10 p.m.

A motorcycle was traveling north on County Road A when it struck a deer. The rider, a 37-year-old man from Randolph, sustained serious injuries as a result. He was flown from the scene by UW Med Flight to UW Hospital in Madison.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office. The rider was wearing protective gear including a helmet at the time of the crash.

The Beaver Dam Paramedics, Fox Lake EMS, Fox Lake Fire Department, and UW Med Flight assisted at the scene.
