The 38th annual Washington County Breakfast on the Farm is Saturday, June 13 at Iron Ridge Dairy, in Kewaskum. Take Highway WW out of Allenton, 33 to WW. Go through Kohlsville, another two miles and you will hit Sunset Drive which goes to the east. The farm is located down the road about one mile.
The event will run from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Washington County Dairy Promotion Committee member Mike Strupp told WTKM about the barn tours that will be available.
"We will have stations set up, roughly eight or nine different stations, to teach the people in the areas like the milking or nutrition. Explain to them what they are seeing. How they take care of the cattle, how they handle the feed and the amount of feed they take. We try and get as much education as we can as the people walk through. They will see up close the workings of the farm."
There will also be archery, games and antique tractors.
A menu which includes pancakes and scrambled eggs.
Parking will be across the road from Iron Ridge Dairy.
