The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following information regarding a sex offender’s release. This release of information will enhance public safety, awareness and protection, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office. The individual who appears on this notification has been convicted of an offense.

Roland Maanga will be released from prison on June 26, 2026. A residence has not been located for Roland Maanga. In 2015, Roland Maanga was convicted of exposing a child to harmful materials. Roland Maanga is not on probation. He will be monitored. Maanga will be required to wear a live tracking GPS unit.

This sex offender has served the prison sentence imposed on him by the courts. He is not wanted by law enforcement at the time of this release. This notification is not intended to increase fear, but rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.
