The Washington County Fair begins next Tuesday, July 21 and runs through Sunday, July 26.

Event and Fair Operations Manager Tanya Becker told WTKM that the number of exhibits, displayed by area kids from agricultural groups is growing. 

"We have one hundred more exhibitors than last year and one thousand more exhibitor entries. More animals, more Lego sets, more flowers and plants. It's exciting to see the hard work of the kids in Washington County." 

A fireworks show is scheduled for dusk opening night. 

Military Day is Wednesday, July 22 at the Washington County Fair. 

New this year is the pro rodeo on Thursday night at 7 p.m. and gluten-free, italian, key lime, strawberry and raclette food trucks.
