It’s another day of the Washington County Fair on Wednesday, July 22.

It’s a busy day of judging at the Equestrian Complex, Farm Progress Arena, Small Animal Barn and the Ziegler Family Expo.

AnnMarie DiGangi was with her son Dominic, and she told WTKM how special it is. 

"The fair is about seeing all of our friends we have made over the years. It's a great community to be a part of and everyone has been working really hard."

Dominic is a member of the 4H Cloverbuds and talked about his project this year. 

"I brought a piece of glass that's a bowl, kind of. I brought a picture of a cardinal and some mint brownies. And a poster about kitchen safety."

Dominic will become an official 4-H member as he enters the third grade. He is a member of the 4-H Cloverbuds and the Washington County Jr. Holstein group. 

Event and Fair Operations Manager Tanya Becker told WTKM that the number of exhibits, displayed by area kids from agricultural groups is growing. 

"We have one thousand more exhibitor entries compared to last year. More animals, more Lego sets, more flowers and plants. It's exciting to see the hard work of the kids in Washington County." 

Area agricultural clubs continue to see strong membership numbers.
