Severe storms impacted the Fox Valley on Monday, July 27.

A confirmed tornado touched down west of Appleton, with reported winds of 124 miles per hour, creating tornado warnings around the western side of Lake Winnebago from the Appleton to Fond du Lac areas.

Reports of broken trees, downed branches, and downed power lines are coming in throughout Appleton, Menasha, and Neenah.

A National Weather Service storm survey team confirmed damage from a tornado with at least EF-2 wind speeds in Menasha.
