In-person absentee voting begins in Wisconsin for the August 11 election, which includes the primary for the governor's race. It's scheduled to run through Sunday, August 9.

It's up to each city, village or town clerk with the appointed hours and locations during the early voting period.

You can  request that an absentee ballot be sent to you by mail in Wisconsin. The deadline to request absentee ballots is August 6, by 5 p.m. for regular and overseas voters, but August 7 at 5 p.m. for military voters. For your absentee ballot to count, it must arrive back at the clerk’s office by primary day, Aug. 11.

You may only return your own ballot to the Clerk's office.
