A short monument dedication ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 1 at 10 a.m. at St. John of God Catholic Cemetery, in Farmington.

The cemetery's address is 1488 Highland Drive, in Kewaskum.

They will be honoring the service of Civil War Veterans Eugene Callaghan, Thomas Callaghan Sr., Thomas Callaghan Jr., James Clark, Edward Dullea, John Keenan, Martin Kenney, Christopher Probst and Mathias Ryan. 

Services will include Color Guard, Civil War Era Cannon and 3-Round Volley. 

The presented monument is held in order to ensure that our Civil War Veterans are not forgotten, even if their headstones are no longer legible.

The dedication ceremony is open to the public and are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
