Slinger's Night Out is Tuesday, August 4 at Breuer Park. 

The event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Food, live music, first responder vehicles, and loads of information from local groups and businesses will be there for the family to have fun. 

"It's a chance to come together as a community," said Slinger Police Chief Kyle Arendt. "It's a fun event for the family." 

You can learn more about the Slinger Police Department's Citizen's Academy and Slinger Police Public Safety Cadet Unit, 1869 under the community tent. 

Washington County Anti-Trafficking Advocates founder Wendy Smith will be manning a booth to share free resources.

"We did this last year, there will be so many things going on. Resources will be available, along with food, dogs, things for the kids to do and music. These National Night Outs are such a great opportunity for us. We have the best conversations with people." 

Amelia Ford, a local favorite from Music in the Park, will be playing music for everyone, and the rescue dogs from WI SOS K9 will be back for everyone to see.
