The Hartford Police Department and members of the Law Enforcement Torch Run were at the Hartford Dunkin' at 1585 E. Sumner Street, collecting donations that directly benefit Special Olympics Wisconsin athletes and Unified partners on Friday, August 14. 

Dunkin' Cop on a Rooftop is a unique partnership between Dunkin', Special Olympics Wisconsin, and the Law Enforcement Torch Run, bringing communities together to support inclusion and year-round sports, health, and leadership programming.

A $10 donation earned a coupon for a free medium hot or iced coffee, and any donation received a free donut coupon. Once again this year, law enforcement received many donations.

Dunkin’ Cop on a Rooftop is a statewide fundraising event where local law enforcement officers take to Dunkin’ rooftops and drive-thrus to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics Wisconsin. It’s a fun and unique way to support statewide athletes while building relationships within local communities.
This year marks Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Wisconsin’s 13th annual participation in this incredible event. Thanks to the dedication of our Law Enforcement Torch Run volunteers, Dunkin’ partners, athletes, coaches and supporters, they have raised more than $715,000 for Special Olympics Wisconsin athletes over the years.

There were 70 locations throughout Wisconsin, including Hartford, West Bend, Mequon, New Berlin, Milwaukee and Cedarburg.
