Motorcyclist suffers injuries in Kekoskee

Dodge County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a motorcycle crash with injuries on County Highway TW at Horicon Street (State Highway 28) in Kekoskee Wednesday morning, August 19 around 7:42 a.m.

The driver was identified as a 23-year-old man from Horicon. He was northbound on TW when it failed to stop for the stop sign at Horicon Street. The motorcycle went down on its right side and  struck a guardrail. The driver of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital by Mayville EMS and Western Lakes Paramedics.

Mayville Police Department, Horicon Police Department, Kekoskee Fire Department, Mayville Fire Department, Mayville EMS, and Western Lakes EMS assisted.

The case remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team. Foggy weather conditions are believed to be a factor in the cause of the crash.
