Slinger Police Officers were dispatched to the construction area of Highway 60, over I-41 for a report of a head-on crash with unknown injuries last Wednesday afternoon around 12:23 p.m. Officers responded to the scene and identified two vehicles involved with severe damage and airbag deployment. Both vehicles were occupied by drivers only.
The investigation showed one vehicle, operated by a 59-year old female, was eastbound on Highway 60 and turning North onto I-41. The second vehicle, operated by an 18-year old female, was driving westbound on Highway 60. The two vehicles collided in the westbound lanes.
Both drivers were transported by ambulance from the scene with suspected non-critical injuries.
The location of the crash required Highway 60 westbound to be closed at Hillside Road for one hour.
Wisconsin State Patrol, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Slinger Fire Department, and Lifestar Ambulance assisted.
