Hartland Police have released information regarding an incident yesterday, around 1 p.m.

A 50-year-old woman, a Hartland resident, called the Waukesha County Communications dispatch center and said she was being held at gunpoint in her apartment, located on Campus Drive.

Officers responded and set up a perimeter.

Lake Country Lutheran High School was placed on lockdown and a community notification was announced.

The Suburban Critical Incident Team and multi-jurisdictional SWAT team responded to the scene.

It was later determined that the woman had been alone inside the apartment, and there was no indication of anyone being held at gunpoint.

The woman was arrested.
