40th annual Germanfest in West Bend

Habitat for Humanity of Washington and Dodge Counties’ Germanfest celebration continues through Sunday, August 30.

The 40th annual four-day event started Thursday, August 27.

A talented lineup of bands perform at Regner Park, in West Bend. Delicious food is also served.

Habitat for Humanity’s Director of Development Amber Ruch told WTKM about where the funds go.

"Germanfest is one of our largest fundraisers for our affiliate. It takes around two hundred thousand dollars to build one home and we try and build four a year."                            

Providing affordable housing is their mission. They help families build and improve places to call home.
