A new school year begins at Hartford Union High School with the Freshmen Jump Start. It's the first day of school for incoming freshmen on Tuesday, September 1st.

HUHS Superintendent Dr. Stacy Gahan told WTKM that the freshmen are on their own that day. 

They will meet their teachers, tour the campus, walk their schedule, pick up their Chromebooks and take part in spirit activities. 

The first day of school for sophmores, juniors and seniors will be Wednesday, September 2nd at Hartford Union High School.
