The final Courtyard Series Summer Concert of the season begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 10 at the Schauer Arts Center, in Hartford.

The Squeezetts will perform traditional polkas and waltzes, with a mix of vintage pop hits, and random tunes you never thought you’d hear played on the accordion and tuba.

This show was originally scheduled for July 16, but was canceled due to air quality concerns at the time.

"It has been a great season," according to Schauer Center Executive Director John Hassig. "Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the show. We had nice crowds this summer, people seem to enjoy the outdoor setting for our Thursday night concerts."

It's located between the Schauer Arts Center and the Hartford Recreation Center, the perfect spot to enjoy live music, delicious food from various food trucks, and refreshing drinks.

"We will also have a free dance class as well," said Hassig. "Our Happy Dance Instructor Eric Thomas will be on site teaching some new moves."

The Schauer Center's outdoor summer concerts are free and are expected to return next year.
