Farmers and consumers have seen costs go up.

What about our food processors?

President of the Midwest Food Products Association Nick Novak says costs are on the rise.

"We have seen costs go up across the board, whether it's cost of labor or whether it's the cost of the goods we need to make with these different food products. The cost of energy also. It's really something that our members are experiencing, just like the consumer. Our members are doing their best to absorb those costs as they can, but there is really nothing you can do when you are seeing costs go up as much as we have."
