Dodge County Deputies were dispatched to a single?vehicle crash involving an International straight truck with a dump body on County Highway P near N. Columbus Street in Randolph Tuesday night, October 13 at 7:30 p.m.

The truck was traveling westbound with the dump body in a raised position when it struck an overhead wire. This caused the truck to overturn, trapping the driver inside.

The driver was a 71?year?old man from Randolph. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The name of the driver is being withheld pending family notification.

This crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team.
