Fall leaf pick-up for the City of Hartford will begin. 

Hartford city residents can rake leaves into the curb and gutter area of their street.

City of Hartford’s new public works director Nate Wendelborn told WTKM that it is expected to start either Monday, October 19 or Tuesday, October 20.

"Yes, our crews are getting ready. We are hoping to get out either Monday or Tuesday. We have colder temperatures coming, with high winds. We will be ready."   

Leaf pick-up will continue periodically until the end of November. Residents are urged to get their leaves raked curbside.

Raked, loose leaves will be picked up at the curb line this month and next month only.
