Due to the forecasted weather, the weekend-long closure of westbound Highway 60 originally scheduled from Friday, October 16 to Monday, October 19, in Slinger has been rescheduled to Friday, October 23 to Monday, October 26.

Reported improvements by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation include widening and realigning the right turn lanes at the I-41 southbound offramp to improve visibility. Adding traffic signals at the southbound ramp terminal. Partial deck removal and widening to increase the length of the Highway 60 left-turn lane to the I-41 northbound on-ramp. Pavement resurfacing is also involved, along with new pavement markings and signage.
