Lake Mills Area School District voters will decide on a ballot question on November 3 that would let the district exceed Wisconsin's state-imposed revenue limit by $2.9 million per year for four years, to cover operating costs.
It's an operational referendum for ongoing school activities, not construction.
Funds would support teacher and staff salaries, maintaining student programs and class sizes, transportation and building maintenance, replacing outdated technology and general operation needs.
