Officers from the Hartford Police Department responded to the 900 block of West Monroe Avenue for a report of shots fired on November 2.

Upon arrival, officers secured the scene and located one individual who sustained injuries. The subject was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

No Hartford Police officers discharged their firearms during the incident, and no officers were injured.

Investigators believe it was an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to the community.

The Hartford Police Department continues to actively investigate this matter.
