Hartford Union High School was awarded a special honor on the athletic side. 

It was a great spring sports season for the Orioles that sealed it, according to Athletic and Activities Director Scott Helms.

"It was great, two conference titles and with those two titles we had seven all together for the school year which gave us the North Shore All Sports Cup. It's the first time we've won that award since we joined the North Shore Conference. The athletic department is very proud of all the athletes and the coaches, they work very hard."

Seven different sports captured conference championships including boys cross country, gymnastics, softball, baseball, girls basketball and both wrestling teams.
