The High School Cross Country Championships from Ridges Golf Course, in Wisconsin Rapids saw a number of area teams finish strong.

Boys team scores, out of 20 cross country teams in Division 1:

Oconomowoc in 6th place, West Bend West finished 11th and Hartford Union High School in 14th.

Girls State Cross Country Championships, in Division 1:

Slinger High School finished 2nd, with the Owls' runners putting in impressive performances:

1. Ava Dziedzic  18:24.3

2. Piper Schuster  18:28.9

3. Abby Kurth  18:31.3

4. Olivia Helmle  19:18.9

5. Stella Gruendemann  19:25.8

 

Individual:

Hartford Union High School's Nikki Reinwald finished 61st out of 190 runners with a time of 19:33 and a split of 6:28.
