Improvement projects continue to take shape at Hartford Union High School.
The school's pool is drained this winter season in order to address its condition. The stainless steel gutters are in, with the concrete and grouting work wrapped up. The scoreboard and banners are installed, along with the completed wall tile.
Other improvement projects are scheduled and will have a positive impact on the Hartford Union High School athletic department, according to Athletic and Activities Director and Dean of Students Scott Helms.
"We will be playing football right here at Gib Mahr. There are no plans to move football behind the school. We would need bleacher systems and a press box before we can do that. Work on the track and inside turf will begin in April. We will not have any home track meets this upcoming season. We will be creative with some of our track practices."
The facilities continue to improve at Hartford Union High School.
