21-year-old speed skater Jordan Stolz, of Kewaskum, won his first-ever Olympic gold medal on Wednesday, February 11.

The Wisconsin native dominated the men’s 1000m speed skating event, setting an Olympic record with a time of 1:06.28, according to NBC Sports.

Stolz entered the event as the world record holder (1:05.37) and a two-time world champion in the distance.
