American speed skater Jordan Stolz, of Kewaskum, captured his second Olympic speedskating gold medal on Saturday, February 14 becoming the first American since 1980 to win two gold medals in the sport.

NBC Sports is reporting that Stolz finished first in the 500-meter event, with a time of 33:79, which is an Olympic record.

His first gold medal in the Milan Olympics was in the 1,000-meter event.
