Hartford Union High School represented in WBCA All-Star Game

The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association is made up of over 4,900 members who coach at the youth, high school or collegiate level.

The WBCA hosts the Hall of Fame, All-State/Academic All-State, Boys’ All-Star and Girls’ All-Star, Fall Coaches Clinic.  The feature event of the WBCA is the running of the boys’ and girls’ high school all star games with proceeds going to five charities:  Garding Against Cancer, The MACC Fund, Ronald McDonald House, Camp Waubeek  (Easter Seals) and Hometown Heroes.

The mission of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association is to improve, preserve and promote the game of basketball in Wisconsin.

The All-Star Games, scheduled for June 24 and 25 at Justagame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells, are a celebration of the state’s top high school basketball talent, and an opportunity to give back. The Girls’ All-Star Games will tip off on Wednesday, June 24, followed by the Boys’ All-Star Games on Thursday, June 25, featuring standout seniors from each WIAA division.

What sets these games apart is their purpose. Every dollar raised supports the five charities.

Hartford Union High School Boys Basketball Head Coach, Chris Smith and Hartford's 6-3 small forward/point guard Sam Richter have been selected to participate in the 2026 WBCA All-Star Game.
