100th WIAA Boys Golf Championships held at University Ridge, in Madison

The 100th Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Boys Golf Championships will be held Monday and Tuesday, June 8-9 at University Ridge in Madison.

The competition features 16 teams and 24 individual qualifiers in Division 1, and eight teams and 12 individuals in Divisions 2 and 3.

The schools qualifying for the state meet, with the number of appearances as a team in the State Boys Golf Championships in parentheses, in Division 1 are Hartford Union High School (14), Slinger (6), De Pere (10), Edgerton (27), Franklin (7), Homestead (35), Hudson (7), Kettle Moraine (13), Kimberly (9), Marquette (17), Middleton (26), Oregon (2), River Falls (17), Waunakee (4), Westosha Central (7) and Whitefish Bay (38).

Individual qualifiers in Division 1 include senior Jonathan Amtmann and junior Rylan Schulz of Arrowhead High School.

Sectional champions in Division 1 include junior Alex Kuepper of Hartford Union High School, who won the Fond du Lac Sectional; and senior Lucas Piacsek of Waukesha North, who won the Waukesha South Sectional.

Individual qualifiers in Division 2 are sophomore Jack Wirth of Kettle Moraine Lutheran and sophomore Jack Pucci of Lakeside Lutheran.
