Improvement projects centering around practice fields and the track at Hartford Union High School are taking shape. All of the work is thanks to the Hartford Union High School District's $25.8 million facilities referendum, which was approved by voters in November of 2024. It passed with 53 percent of the vote, or 11,566. 9,855 voted against it in 2024.
The installation of a turf field is in progress at the time of this writing, and the asphalt pouring around the track is also underway.
The installation of the sprinkler systems for the soccer field continues, along with the building upgrades.
Concrete curbs are complete for the north parking lot.
