Oconomowoc Five O's 9, Dousman Frogs 5
Oconomowoc raced out to a 7-0 lead after two innings, and scored twice in the 7th. Brady Nelson and Maddux Hibbard each hit home runs for Oconomowoc. Cooper Pease hit three doubles for Dousman.
Hartland Oilers 6, Monches Irish 3
The upset of the day was in Monches, as the Hartland Oilers scored five times in the 4th to knock off the Irish.
Brookfield Bulldogs 10, Menomonee Falls Lakers 2
Brookfield scored in six consecutive innings after falling behind 2-0 through two, including five times in the 8th. Thomas Otto's grand slam in the 8th was the exclamation point for Brookfield. Danny Llanas went seven innings of four hit baseball for the Bulldogs, striking out eight.
Sunday, August 9
Genesee Rebels 6, Oconomowoc Five O's 4
Genesee entered the bottom of the 9th down 4-1, but scored five times to win in walk off fashion, capped by Lane Scott's three run walk-off home run for the Rebels. Genesee will represent the Kettle Moraine Division in next weekend's Final Four.
Brookfield Bulldogs 2, West Bend Spirits 0
In a pitchers' duel in West Bend, Thomas Otto's fifth inning two run home run held up for the Brookfield Bulldogs. James Severson and Gavin Hinckley were both brilliant in complete game efforts. Severson gave up just 2 West Bend singles and struck out 14, while Hinckley allowed just 4 hits and struck out 8. Brookfield will represent the Suburban Division in next weekend's Final Four.
