Washington County Golf Course celebrated the grand opening of its new clubhouse addition marking the launch of a state-of-the-art multi-purpose space featuring indoor golf simulators, expanding the course’s offerings into a year-round, comprehensive golfing facility. The new multi-purpose space opens to breathtaking views of the iconic Holy Hill rising above the rolling Kettle Moraine landscape, an area cherished by golfers for its contours and the natural beauty.

“This is such an exciting way to enter the next quarter century at our Washington County Golf Course,” said County Executive Josh Schoemann. “The course is a true gem for the people of Washington County and one of the things that contributes to our authentic quality of life.”

Known for its top-ranked municipal course, practice facility, and short course, the addition of indoor golf simulators ensures that local golfers and visitors can train, practice, and play regardless of the season. The facility addition was funded through a combination of golf course funds, debt fully supported by golf revenues, community donor contributions, and the inaugural grant from the Washington County Golf, Parks and Trails Endowment Fund. To maintain long-term excellence, the facility operates under a fully funded maintenance plan.

The project was designed by Plunkett Raysich Architects, LLP; engineered by MSA Professional Services, Inc.; and constructed by Elite Builds in the greater Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. PRA designed the new two level 5,392 total square foot addition to the clubhouse. The addition provides two new state of the art indoor gulf simulators, a viewing area, a new multi-purpose room, an expanded clubhouse, a dedicated equipment repair room, and other areas to support the enlarged building.
