First place for girls swim team at Watertown

The Watertown High School girls swim team continues to have a strong season.

They earned first place at the Kiel Invitational, at Kiel High School, finishing with 623 team points on Saturday, September 19.

Event champions:

• Warnecke, Carpenter, Williams and Smail — 200 Medley Relay

• Ava Carpenter — 200 IM

• Ella Williams — 50 Freestyle

• Ella Williams — 100 Butterfly

• Raelyn Warnecke — 100 Freestyle

• Raelyn Warnecke — 100 Backstroke

• Ava Carpenter — 100 Breaststroke

• Huhn, Lampe, McCrory and Zehren — 200 Freestyle Relay

• Williams, Smail, Carpenter and Warnecke — 400 Freestyle Relay
